Karabuk University- Safranbolu Fethi Toker Faculty of Fine Arts and Design

Safranbolu Fethi Toker Faculty of Fine Arts and Design was founded on May 30, 2002 and linked to Karabuk University, which was established newly, on May 29, 2007. In our faculty, there are recently five departments: Architecture, Painting, Music and Industrial Design and Design. Basic values of our faculty are being scientific, universal, rational, sensivitiveness to ethic and esthetic problems, creativity, awarenesss of responsibility, sharing and participation. Karabuk University is one of the biggest universities of Turkey with over 53.000 students including. There are also over 6000 foreign students in the university from various  countries.

FOLGADO VET SCHOOL

The Folgado Training Center has extensive experience (since 1997) in the teaching sector in terms of professional qualifications and professional training in both the ordinary and dual vocational training. CFF has its own placement agency that collaborates actively with companies.

CFF is a Collaborating Center of the Valencian Employment Service (LABORA) and an Educational Center with the Consellería of Education (Valencian Government) works in several educational lines:

IICDS

The International Institute of Competences for Sustainable Development works mainly in the fields related to the Agenda 2015-2030 of the UN and UNESCO.

The main objective is to work and develop a model of Professional Competences in the framework of Lifelong Learning for Practitioners in Sustainable Development.

Therefore IICDS is developing models and tools for the definition, development, evaluation and accreditation of competencies to support the 17 Sustainable Development Goals and other initiatives in the field taking into account the triple bottom line (people, planet, profit) strengthen the identity, multiculturality, otherness of people in the world through education.

The European Intercultural Association was born in Valencia, Spain, with the aim of fostering an international spirit within the common European project. Instalofi Levante S.L. The Association of Women for Radom

The Association of Women for Radom is involved in the research, development and implementation of the projects directly dedicated to research and educational activities in the field of vocational education and are focused on the raising  awareness in the field of health and addiction prevention.

The association’s activities are focused on the educational actions for children, youth and adults, including seniors, aimed at supporting of the intellectual and emotional development of the target groups. Initiatives are also undertaken to protect the environment, to promote civic awareness and to support and develop culture and international cooperation.

Due to the cooperation with the research institute, vocational education and training centres and VET schools, the implemented projects concerned the development of the research methods for labour pedagogy, including vocational studies and the implementation of EU instruments supporting formal, non-formal and informal education. Scientific, research and methodical activity, includes work in the field of continuous professional education – especially adults, development of modern education technologies and professional development.

The Association carries out tasks and projects in the area of ​​educational and training activity, activities for disabled people, activities for equal rights and women and promoting integration with the European Union. There are organized trainings raising the qualifications of various social and professional groups in the field of promoting a healthy lifestyle, health prevention, dissemination of physical culture and sport, including the dissemination of cultural and sporting forms of spending free time.

It implements out-of-school prevention programs addressed to children, youth and adults at risk of drug addiction to themselves and their families. An important role in promoting a healthy and sober lifestyle is being played by the information and consultation point for addicts and their families, in which you can get specialist help in the field of addiction therapy, including alcohol, drugs, designer drug or domestic violence.

Due to the dissemination of project results, the information reaches not only residents of the City of Radom, but also neighbouring towns. A wide range of information, organizational, advisory and legal assistance is provided to all beneficiaries of implemented programmes and projects in the scope of undertaken activities, projects or support programmes.

The members of the association actively participate in training, seminars and conferences, constantly improving their competences and qualifications. The key people in the project took part in the development of the national standards of professional competences implemented by the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy. They deal with the development of employee education and technology of vocational education and training to support the development of lifelong learning processes or development of cooperation networks of adult education associations.

Technological High School of Construction and Environmental Protection

Technological High School of Construction and Environmental Protection, harmonizes the common interests of students, teachers, parents and local community, following the finality proposed by the educational standards specific to each qualification. Through its national and international programs, high school ensures that students have the opportunity to complete their qualifications with nationally recognized qualifications and international through Europass mobility. The school offer includes: primary, secondary, high school and post-secondary education. At the high school level, the two areas of education are Construction, installation and public works (Drawing Technician for Construction, Construction and Public Works Technician) and Environmental Protection (Hydro-Meteorologist, Environmental Technician and Environmental Quality Protection).

Technical College Emanuil Ungureanu

Technical College Emanuil Ungureanu from Timișoara, is the largest institution of technology education in the West Region of Romania, a state-certified school and the first technical school in our region, established in 1882.

The school is accredited to organize admission, to carry out the educational process, to certify skills and issue diplomas for the following fields:

Stanislao Cannizzaro

The Technical Industrial institute “Stanislao Cannizzaro” is the biggest independent public school multi-specialist of Sicily. Founded in 1969, it has now five specializations: chemistry, electronics, electrical engineering, computer science and mechanics.

Cannizzaro Institute is the head of the fi AetnaNet project, media consortium created in 2000 with the intention of creating an electronic network between the schools of the province to pursue the improvement of the access to the school records service and to start the socialization of information in the frame of the organization of services and teaching management. AetnaNet currently sees the participation of over 90 schools belonging to Catania hinterland .

Cannizzaro Institute was identified by the Ministry of Education, University and Research, together with other 74 schools in southern Italy, as “Multipurpose Center for the Support Service to autonomy,   technologies diffusion, networks creation. ”

Cannizzaro Institute is part of the ” European Network of Innovative Schools “, which aims to bring together European schools considered by their ministries as leading schools in the use of the Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), as well as the sicilian and national networks TSSS (Technology, Science, School and Society).

The Institute has set up long cooperation with local governments, educational institutions, environmental associations, local enterprises.

Baskent University - Management Department

Background and experiences:

In response to Turkey’s need for high quality institutions of higher education, the Organ Transplant and Burns Treatment Foundation, which has been in operation since 1980, made the decision to turn its existing complexes into a university. In 1993, procedures were begun to establish Baskent University, with the aid of the Haberal Educational Foundation. In accordance with Article 3961 of the Legal Code, the University was officially founded on January 13, 1994.

The main objective is to build an academic institution that will ultimately be a full-fledged and internationally prominent university. In the 1995-1996 academic year, Baskent University moved to its new Campus at Bağlıca, located 20 km. west of the center of Ankara, on the main highway to Eskişehir.
The language of education at Baskent University is Turkish and English for some departments, in all but the English Language Department and the Department of American Culture and Literature. The English Language Department offers instruction in academic and occupational English, which is a mandatory part of the curriculum. The aim of the University is to educate a generation of young people who have incorporated into their lives cultural and historical values. The graduates are successful in the professional and business world, and are open to competition. They are sensitive to national and international issues, are dynamic and inquisitive, and are knowledgeable in the areas of health,humanities, environment, industry, trade, and technology. Currently, the university’s enrolment includes 806 associate students, 7,535 undergraduate students and 831 graduate students. Today, Baskent University has become one of Turkey’s leading higher education institutions, with its 11 Faculties, a State Conservatory, 7 Institutes, 6 Vocational Schools, 13 Research Centers, 1500 academic staff members.

Baskent University has been awarded Erasmus University Charter in 2003 and since then has been participating in the Erasmus program. Starting with 2005-2006 academic year, diploma supplement is being issued automatically and free of charge to all Baskent University graduates of short, first, second, and third cycle programmes. At second and third cycle diploma supplement’s section 4 “Information on the Contents and Results Gain” is documented as 60 ECTS per academic year.
On-the-job-training, preparing a Module for Financial Management, blended and On-line Financial Management Training for SMEs and networking by building on knowledge and experience from Turkey, Greece & Spain are the main activities of the project to achieve the goals that identified on project document. Carrying out of these activities needs theoretical and practical experiences in the frame of setting up the methodological way and implementation of training modules.

Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences has adequacy to handle all of these activities from the viewpoint of physical and intellectual capability. The Faculty includes efficient physical infrastructure such as classes, meeting rooms, training technologies, networks, technology, documentation, training materials in order to prepare and organise the activities.
In the sense of intellectual capacity, the key persons have sufficient academic experience and knowledge on administrative and financial management issues for SMEs. Their specialized areas are organisation theory and financial management which are the main theoretical frames to meet the need of project’s activities. Thereby key persons play a key role in order to provide knowledge and training about administrative aspects that is analytical and cognitive as well as quantitative and qualitative with tools prepared during the project predominantly on international business administration, general management, entrepreneurship, family business administration, financial analysis, value chain management and marketing to target audience.

Professor Guray Kucukkocaoglu, PhD. He is currently chair of the Department of Management, at Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences. He specializes in finance. He could play a vital role in order to contribute activities on Entrepreneurial Training and other issues in the frame of financial management in start-up firms.
